Today, I had my very first practice on the Bucci BR17 in Pomposa, and it was an experience to remember. The weather on December 7th was definitely on the colder side, making the track even more challenging and testing my focus from the very start.
Riding my very own BR17, I immediately felt the potential of the bike—it responds sharply, accelerates smoothly, and really feels built for precision on every corner. I got a really good feel for it, learning how it reacts in different situations and how to push it safely.
FIRST CRASH
However, not everything went perfectly. In the fourth corner, while carrying over 100 km/h, I had a smaller highside. Thankfully, I wasn’t injured—only my fingers felt hot from the impact. The bike only lost the front brake lever. It was a tough but valuable lesson in handling, focus, and resilience.
conclusion
Despite the cold and the crash, this first session on the BR17 was an incredible step forward. Every lap taught me something new about the bike and myself, and I can’t wait for the next practice to continue learning and pushing harder. Pomposa may have been cold, but it was a day full of growth, adrenaline, and determination.
